We are also the chapter’s computer support department, and any and all who want help or support with computer-related matters is welcome to send an e-mail to the DaSK maillist dask@f.kth.se. The DaSK maillist is also DaSK’s primary news channel, so if you want to know about all the fun stuff going on, contact bigmac@f.kth.se and you’ll be included in the list!

FSN – the Education Guild

The physics chapter’s study guild (FSN) runs the chapter’s influence on education development. According to PM for FSN, the guild shall strive for:

  • Quality teaching.
  • Good study environment for the students.
  • Well-being and motivation to study at the physics chapter.
  • A good image for the Physics program.
One of FSN’s main goals is thus for the program to live up to what the students and industry expects in terms of knowledge content and format, while making sure that the program is conducted in the most educational and high quality manner possible. Typical committee questions include issues in the design of the program; such as the overall composition of courses, but also issues in individual courses such as course content, teaching methods, assessment, and coordination between courses. Fysikalen sets up a spex every second year and the next production will be held in the spring of 2012. You are more than welcome to participate in the preparations by joining i. e. the Costume or Scene group. Of course, you’re also welcome as audience. Tickets will be sold at www.fysikalen.se.
